Hello and welcome to my blog.  I'm new to this whole blogging thing, but I'm hoping this page can become a fun way to share my love of reading and make even more connections with the awesome literary community I know is out there.  Basically this blog will consist of my (and possible guest bloggers) thoughts about books (what I want to read, am currently reading, reviews, etc.), but I may also share quips about my personal life.  We'll see how this all pans out.

A little about me... I have been married to my husband, Eric, for almost three years and have the most amazing little boy, Everett, who is 18 months old.  I work as an assistant store manager of a bookstore (Who gets to do a job she loves?  This girl!!) and feel fortunate to be able to work with readers every day.  I was born and raised in Wisconsin, but have also lived in Minnesota and Connecticut.  I have a degree from the University of Minnesota in English Literature (with minors in creative writing, social science psychology, and American studies).  

I love to respond to emails and answer questions (once I have blogs that may require emails and questions lol), but my family does come first.  I'm going to try to post a couple times a week (more if there are lots of exciting things going on in the book world, less if we're on a family vacation or whatnot).  And, as stated in my "information" section, I love positive people, and do ask that anyone visiting my page remain respectful.

I cannot wait to begin *officially* posting (as in not an intro post...) and share exciting reviews, books, and events with you all!  Thank you for visiting my little corner of the book world, and I can't wait to get to know you!
